Akuapem Poloo Finally Discloses Why She Releases Her Nãk3d Photo Online That Landed Her Behind Bars
Ghanaian socialist Akuapem Poloo whos legally known as Rosemond Alade Brown in an interview on the Delay show disclosed her reasons for unleashing her n@ked photo online that landed her behind bars.
According to her, relevance and consistency play roles in her career and she has no choice but to unleash her raw picture on social media to revive her dying career.
She continues to add that, she knows the implications of her actions but has no choice but to keep herself relevant in the industry for businesses to patronize her.
“Fame helps us get jobs. I don’t make much money in the movie industry because I don’t get many roles. As a result, I pay more attention to the advertisements. Because I’m outgoing and like to flaunt my skin, skincare companies want to work with me.
When your fame fades, no one will patronize you, so when I realize my fame is fading, I create something to go viral to get contracts.
Before I post anything, I consider the implications. I know I’ll be mocked, but I don’t have a choice; I have to do it. You can’t ask people for money right now because they’re dealing with their issues. So I need to do this to make money so that I can take care of myself.”
