According to Fred, Thais Baker, his ex-wife, passed away from breast cancer in 2013 at their house in Santa Barbara, some two hours to the north. She reportedly filed for divorce from Fred before she passed away, and it took a while for it to be finalized.
After Baker’s breast cancer diagnosis a few weeks after they began dating, Fred Couple married her in 1998. Gigi and Oliver were two of her two children from her first marriage.
Despite the fact that they had split up, the couple moved back in with his wife in March 2007, but the effort at reconciliation only lasted six months. Moreover, Fred Couple said, “Thais was a great person, but we didn’t get along, and we didn’t get divorced until she passed away.”
