No Student Has Been Stabbed In Our School — UCC Clears Air

University of Cape Coast debunks the rumors that a lady student has been stabbed by an arm robber in her hostel.

In a 30 secs video trending on social media since yesterday shows a pool of blood in a room that looks more like a student room, the video had the caption “UCC student stabbed by arm robber”.

A press statement released by students and members of the university community calls the purported video of a student being stabbed in her hostel false.

According to the University, all student from the school are safe and no single soul has been touched.

The school’s press release furthered that despite the falseness of a student being stabbed, 55 more watch dogs has been added to the security of the school.
