What Changed? Lydia Forson Questions About The President Over E-levy Saga
Ghanaian renowned actress Lydia Forson on the E-levy which took effect on the 1st of May took to her social media to question what changed as she narrated how the current president led Kume Preko to demonstrate against VAT some years back.
According to her, she can’t believe the same man who led a demonstration is the same person leading the E-levy despite the current hardship in the country.
However, she wants to know what has changed and could it be because of power? She questioned.
It’s still hard to believe that our president led the Kume Preko against VAT( value added tax) because of the high cost of living then.
Over 25 years later, he’s justifying #elevy at a time when people are barely making ends meet.
